​​Assistant Professor Andrew Ho

Consultant, Emergency Medicine, Singapore General Hospital (SGH)


​Assistant Professor Andrew Ho is a Consultant with the Department of Emergency Medicine at SGH. His clinical interests are in resuscitation and pre-hospital emergency care. He is also a Clinician Scientist, and his research interests are resuscitation, health services and public health. His research philosophy integrates methods from clinical epidemiology, population health sciences and implementation science to drive outcomes improvement in patients with sudden cardiac arrest and other emergency conditions and population health. Concurrently, he is an Assistant Professor with the SingHealth Duke-NUS Emergency Medicine Academic Clinical Programme (ACP).



Dr Dorothy Ng

MED ACP

Consultant, Infectious Diseases, Singapore General Hospital (SGH)


​Dr Dorothy Ng is a Consultant with the Department of Infectious Diseases at SGH. She is also an A*STAR Clinician Scientist and her research interests are in infection and immunology.



​Dr Matae Ahn

MED ACP

Senior Research Fellow, Emerging Infectious Diseases, Duke-NUS Medical School

​Dr Matae Ahn is a Resident in Internal Medicine at SingHealth. In 2019, he was awarded the Young Investigator Award by the International Association of Inflammation Societies, which recognises young scientists who perform exploratory and applied research in the general area of inflammation. He also won the William Harvey Medal for Best Oral Presentation at the 14th World Congress on Inflammation.


Ms Azizah Binte Mohamed Afif

Senior Principal Radiographer, Radiography, Singapore General Hospital (SGH)

Director, Radiography and Nursing Research, RADSC ACP


​Ms Azizah Bte Mohamed Afif is a Senior Principal Radiographer from the Department of Radiography, Singapore General Hospital (SGH). Concurrently, she is the Director of Radiographer and Nursing Research in the Radiological Sciences Academic Clinical Programme (RADSC ACP). She is the only SingHealth allied health applicant to be included in the Master of Clinical Investigation (MCI) programme in 2019 when it was opened to allied health professionals. Her research interests are in radiography and ultrasound methodologies for improving the patient management.

Dr Kwek Swee Sen

Senior Resident, Infectious Diseases (Clinician-Scientist Track), SingHealth
Dr Kwek Swee Sen is an Infectious Diseases Senior Resident on the Clinician-Scientist track at SingHealth Residency. He graduated from the MD-PhD programme of Duke-NUS Medical School in 2019. His PhD research was on Zika virus live attenuated vaccine development under the mentorship of Prof. Ooi Eng Eong from the Emerging Infectious Diseases programme. His research interest lies in infection and immunity, with current research studying host-virus interactions and vaccine development.​

Dr Mohamad Fadhli Bin Masri

Senior Resident, Rheumatology (Clinician-Scientist Track), SingHealth
​Dr Fadhli is a Rheumatology Senior Resident on the Clinician-Scientist track at SingHealth Residency. He was a recipient of the Outstanding Resident Award in 2024, which recognises the top 5% of Residents from each programme who have done exceptionally well in their clinical and academic avenues of medical education. His research interest is in inflammatory myopathies, particularly on the immunopathogenesis and the development of treatment for these diseases.
