Clinical Asst Prof Diana Chan is the head of department of Pain Medicine and the pain director of Spine SDDC. She is an anaesthesiologist by training and also completed her pain management fellowship in Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital, Perth from 2016-2017, Masters of Clinical Investigation in 2017 and also holds a Graduate Diploma of Acupuncture (Singapore) and European Diploma in Regional Anaesthesia. Dr Chan has been involved in research, education and clinical treatment of different types of acute and chronic pain conditions. She has published extensively in numerous high impact medical journals and is on the editorial board of Singapore Medical Journal, and has given talks on pain topics in different forums, conferences, as well as on TV/radio. She was previously the treasurer of the Pain Association of Singapore and is presently the honorary secretary in the Chapter of Pain Medicine in the College of Medicine.
