Dr Van Nguyen is a recent graduate of Duke-NUS Medical School with a Bachelor of Science Honors degree in Nutrition and Dietetics from Messiah University, USA. Prior to coming to Singapore, she was involved in public health research with Oxford Clinical Research Unit, Vietnam, studying Vietnamese community antibiotics use and point of care testing services. During her study at Duke-NUS, she actively worked on different clinical and primary care research projects to improve disease screening and patient care processes. Outside of clinical work, she is passionate about community health screening and education. Currently, Dr Van Nguyen is working as a House Officer for MOH.
