A/P Graham Matthews is Provost's Chair in Medical Humanities, and Associate Chair (Research) at NTU's School of Humanities and Director of the Centre for Health, Culture, and Society. His research focuses on illness narratives, narrative medicine, and the social and cultural dimensions of health and healthcare in Singapore and Southeast Asia. He has published widely in medical humanities and is currently working on a pilot study investigating complaint, moral strain, and narrative conflict in the hospital pharmacy at Singapore General Hospital.
