Ying Ying is a junior doctor with a strong interest in integrating the medical humanities into clinical practice. She graduated from the National University of Singapore and will be commencing her residency in radiation oncology at the National Cancer Centre Singapore. Her interest in the medical humanities was cultivated during her time as a scholar in the Yale Visiting Scholar Program, where she spent an additional year during medical school engaging with the liberal arts and exploring the role of the social sciences and humanities in shaping patient care. She is passionate about developing as a clinician and learning how to incorporate knowledge from the medical humanities into creating a more compassionate healthcare system.
