Ms Andine Elaina

About

Andine Elaina is from Surabaya, Indonesia. She trained in contemporary dance at the Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts (NAFA), where she graduated with a Diploma in Dance in 2021. During her studies, she was a recipient of the NAFA Scholarship and the NAFA Talent Development Programme, which supported her artistic growth and performance development. She has received classical ballet training since young, and in 2016, she won First Place at Dance Prix Indonesia, earning a scholarship to train at the Ena Ballet Intensive Course in Nara, Japan. Andine joined ARTS FISSION in 2022 as a full-time dance artist and has since performed in numerous site-specific and stage productions with the company. Although still early in her professional journey, her good dance physique and artistic receptiveness contribute to the rapid maturing of her craft. Andine is one exciting emerging dance artist to watch. As part of her professional development at ARTS FISSION, she is trained to facilitate creative movement workshops as a tool for connection and expression, and is experienced in working with seniors and children of different communities.
