Madhumitha is a final-year medical student at Duke-NUS Medical School. Prior to medical school, she earned a degree in Anthropology from Yale-NUS College, graduating with the National University of Singapore Society (NUSS) Medal for Outstanding Achievement as the Best Graduate. During medical school, she has combined her interests in paediatrics and the medical humanities through research on the lived experiences of children with complex medical needs and their caregivers, as well as work in narrative medicine. She hopes to integrate her training in the arts and social sciences into her future clinical practice to provide more holistic, patient-centered care.
