About

Patricia has served as a medical social worker in SGH for the past 19 years. Her vast clinical experience included providing acute grief support for families in ICUs and holding difficult conversations surrounding deceased organ donation. She received several awards for her exemplary work (Healthcare Humanity Award 2023, CEO Award 2022 amongst many others). Her passion and interest have always been to draw out patient and family members’ narratives and how they make meaning of their illnesses. This led her to pursue and earn a Master of Narrative Therapy and Community Work in 2025.
