9th Pathology ACP Research Day 2022

Our 9th Research Day was held on Tuesday, 18 October 2022 via Zoom webinar. A total of 55 abstracts were received, with diverse topics on different pathology disciplines. Residents, trainees, medical students, undergraduates and allied health professionals showcased their research findings locally to colleagues in the pathology community through posters and platform presentations.

We were privileged to have Prof Tan Eng King, Deputy Chief Executive Officer (Academic Affairs), National Neuroscience Institute, delivered his keynote lecture on ““Brain Banks: Challenges & Benefits”, which was relevant and insightful.

A/Prof Timothy Barkham (Tan Tock Seng Hospital, Dr Adele Wong Pek Choo (KK Women’s and Children’s Hospital) and Dr Lee Kian Leong (Duke-NUS Medical School) kindly served as our judges for the poster and platform presentations.

The participants presented their research findings zealously. It was a valuable opportunity for members of the pathology community to interact and learn from one another.

Our heartiest congratulations to the winner of the 9th Pathology ACP Research Day.
