Surgery ACP provides clinical rotations for medical students from the 3 local medical schools (YLL Medical School National University of Singapore, Duke-NUS Medical School and Lee Kong Chian Medical School National Technological University). The level of involvement with each school varies between the different surgical departments and at different campuses. Some Surgery ACP faculty are also involved in pre-clinical teaching for the medical schools.
The medical students are taken through 2-10 weeks of clinical rotation aimed to fulfil the various objectives set by respective medical schools. The Surgery Programmes aim to orientate students to a hospital-based education, provide experience interacting with real patients and learn the clinical aspects of surgical conditions.
