Dr. Higgins, Assistant Professor of Nursing, Hawai’i Pacific University and a dedicated Simulationist for over 10 years, specializes in the integration of clinical simulation into nursing education. With a passion for experiential learning, Dr. Higgins designs and facilitates high-fidelity simulation scenarios that enhance clinical judgment, teamwork, and patient safety. Focusing on bridging theory and practice for academic and professional nursing efforts in the workforce, Dr. Higgins prepares future nurses for real-world challenges through innovative teaching strategies and simulation-based pedagogy.
