Alison is a dedicated and experienced Nurse Clinician currently serving in the Medical Intensive Care Unit (MICU) at Singapore General Hospital (SGH). She began her nursing journey by obtaining a Diploma in Nursing in 2009. Demonstrating a strong commitment to continuous professional development, she pursued and completed her Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing in 2011. Her passion for critical care led her to further specialize, earning an Advanced Diploma in Critical Care Nursing in 2013.With over 14 years of experience in the ICU, Alison has developed deep clinical expertise and a strong foundation in critical care nursing. Throughout her career, she has progressively taken on more responsibilities, playing a pivotal role in enhancing the quality and delivery of nursing care in the unit. Her leadership extends beyond bedside care, encompassing staff development, patient safety, and clinical excellence.

Alison currently serves as the Coordinator for SGH’s Code Blue Simulation Workshops – a critical training initiative designed to ensure that nurses are equipped with the knowledge, confidence, and skills necessary to respond effectively during life-threatening emergencies. In this role, she oversees the planning, execution, and evaluation of these high-fidelity simulations, fostering a culture of preparedness and excellence in emergency response across the hospital. Her dedication to clinical education and quality improvement has made her a respected mentor and leader within the ICU nursing team.
