Dr Alice Chua Foong Sin

Dr. Alice Chua is an experienced Advanced Practice Nurse and Assistant Director of Nursing at the National Cancer Centre Singapore, with over 25 years in oncology nursing. She holds a Doctor of Nursing Practice from Duke University. Her professional portfolio includes leadership roles in advanced practice nursing across NCCS and Singapore General Hospital, as well as multiple clinical attachments to premier international institutions, including MD Anderson Cancer Center and the University of Washington. Dr. Chua has led and contributed to numerous quality improvement projects and clinical research studies focused on enhancing the quality of life, perioperative care, and nutritional support for oncology patients. She is the recipient of several national awards, including the prestigious President’s Award (2020). She has played key roles in national and institutional committees related to nursing research, advanced practice development, and oncology education. Her work has been presented at regional and international conferences and published in both local and international journals. Committed to advancing cancer nursing, Dr. Chua also engages in community outreach and professional mentoring, shaping the next generation of nursing professionals.
