Desiree, a skilled nurse with specialised training in intravitreal injections, brings invaluable expertise to healthcare. After graduating with a Bachelor of Nursing from Griffith University, Desiree pursued additional certification in ophthalmic care in partnership with Singapore National Eye Centre and Curtin University. She is pursuing a Master of Science in Applied Gerontology from Nanyang Technology University. With a passion for improving patient outcomes; she has dedicated herself to delivering compassionate and effective care. As a nurse-trained intravitreal injector and a nurse trainer in intravitreal injections, she is at the forefront of improving healthcare practices and patient safety, ensuring individuals receive optimal treatment for vision-threatening conditions.
