Dr Dipti Thakkar is the Chief Operating Officer at Hummingbird Bioscience. She leads scientific strategies and operations to drive the company’s therapeutic innovations. Dipti is one of the founding scientific leaders of Hummingbird Bioscience and built the company’s R&D capabilities from the ground up. Dipti has led her multidisciplinary teams to advance multiple pre-clinical programs to clinical development. Trained as a molecular biologist, she has nearly two decades of experience in preclinical therapeutic development across various modalities. In 2023, Dipti received the Singapore 100 Women in Tech (SG100WIT) award in recognition of her achievements in biotechnology. In her previous academic roles at the University of Oxford and National Neuroscience Institute, she worked extensively towards understanding patient heterogeneity and identifying gene signatures for patient stratification.
