A/Prof Frederick Koh is a Consultant in the Colorectal Service, Department of General Surgery, Sengkang General Hospital (SKH). He is also the Principal Investigator in the SKH Musculoskeletal Regenerative Laboratories and leads the SingHealth Duke-NUS Muscle Health Programme. He is published in numerous peer-reviewed journals and enjoys both clinical as well as basic science research, pertaining to the field of General and Colorectal Surgery, Sarcopenia and Artificial Intelligence applications in Surgery. He holds a Duke-NUS PhD on the effects of Sarcopenia on Surgical Patients and intends to continue his pursuit of Academia in order to continue to participate in the continuous improvement to clinical practice to serve his patients best. His clinical and research contributions have also been recognised with Key-Opinion-Leader positions with Global Industrial Partners such as Abbott International, Hyphens Pharma, Pharmacosmo and Medtronic.
