Dr Indumathi Venkatachalam is an infectious disease physician and clinical epidemiologist with the Department of Infectious Prevention and Epidemiology at Singapore General Hospital. She aims to leverage technology and innovative methods to automate infection surveillance so that infection prevention can be effectively informed. This can potentially make the hospital environment safer for our patients.
