Dr Kwan is a senior resident in the Department of Rheumatology and Immunology, Singapore General Hospital and senior research fellow in the Program in Health Services and Systems Research, Duke-NUS Medical School. He obtained first-class honours in the Bachelor of Science (Pharmacy) and graduated with a MD-PhD from Duke-NUS Medical School in 2020 with a fellowship in Implementation Science. He was accepted as a Full Member of the Assessment of Spondyloarthritis International Society (ASAS) since 2017. He had published more than 150 publications. He has been appointed as a PROMs workgroup member in SGH and advise the workgroup on implementation strategies. His research interest involves implementing Patient-Reported Outcome Measures (PROMs) in clinical care and to use PROMs to create novel model of care to improve overall healthcare utilisation and patient experience. He recently been awarded the NMRC Population Health Research Grant – New Investigator Grant on PROMs implementation in routine clinical care. He will share the data and insights from this project in this symposium.
