Pamela Swee Jia Hui is an Assistant Nurse Clinician at the Singapore National Eye Centre (SNEC), where she plays a key role in coordinating clinic operations and delivering high-quality patient care. She works closely with team leads to create fortnightly duty schedules and manages personal deployment to maintain operational readiness.
 
Pamela began her nursing journey in 2009 and obtained her diploma in nursing in 2010. She spent the next five years gaining valuable experience in General Surgery and Orthopaedics at Singapore General Hospital (SGH). In 2018, she joined SNEC to widen her knowledge in ophthalmology.
 
Her time at SNEC began in the Eye Centre Services Outpatient Department (ECS OPD), where she worked for about three years before transitioning to the Retina Subspecialty Clinic. To further enhance her clinical skills, Pamela completed a Postgraduate course in Ophthalmology and Clinical Skills for Intravitreal Injection in 2023.
 
Pamela’s responsibilities include mentoring junior staff, ensuring accurate documentation, and fostering a supportive work environment. She is dedicated to professional development and constantly seeks opportunities to improve her knowledge and skills. Her leadership and commitment contribute significantly to the efficiency and quality of care at SNEC.
