Our Speakers

Ms Serene Low has been a registered nurse since 2005. After completing her Diploma in Nursing, she began her career as a perioperative nurse at the Singapore National Eye Centre (SNEC). She went on to attain her Advanced Diploma in Perioperative Nursing in 2010 and later completed her Bachelor of Nursing in 2020.

 

Currently serving as a Nurse Clinician in the Operating Theatre, Serene leads as a team-based leader, supporting the operating rooms and ensuring the smooth day-to-day operations of the OT. She continues to maintain her surgical assisting skills while also handling key administrative responsibilities.

 

Since 2018, Serene has represented the SNEC Operating Theatre as a committee member of the SNEC Nursing Quality Team. She actively contributes to departmental process improvements and is involved in initiatives aimed at enhancing patient care and maintaining a safe, efficient surgical environment.
