Clin Asst Prof Tham Kah Yee is a Consultant with the Department of Respiratory & Critical Care Medicine, Changi General Hospital (CGH). She has experience managing a broad spectrum of respiratory conditions, with particular clinical and research interests in interstitial lung disease, smoking-related lung disease and pleural disorders.
In 2024, Dr Tham completed a 12-month clinical fellowship in ILD at Royal Prince Alfred Hospital in Sydney, where she worked with a multidisciplinary team specialising in the diagnosis, management and supportive care of patients with fibrotic lung diseases. Her work included exposure to complex ILD cases, participation in multidisciplinary meetings and involvement in clinical research and service development. Dr Tham remains focused on improving care pathways for patients with ILD, including early diagnosis, shared models of care and the early integration of palliative care and patient-centred tools into clinical practice. She hopes to contribute to regional and international initiatives in ILD care.
