Nurse Clinician Veronica Sam has been working in SNEC with over 19 years of experience as an ophthalmic nurse in the refractive and cataract outpatient department. As an in-charge for Refractive Surgery OT, refractive and cataract outpatient clinics she ensures smooth and efficient clinical workflow by coordinating closely with doctors and team members to deliver high quality care. At refractive surgery OT, she provides pre, post operative advice and assists in scrub refractive cases to optimise patient care and support in surgical outcomes. She is one of the pioneer nurses in SNEC who was trained to deliver Lipiflow and eyelight treatment, contributing to care and wellbeing of dry eye patients. As a team providing patient education to ensure patient's comfort and safety throughout the whole journey.
