Our Speakers

Wang Xia, a Nurse Clinician at CGH with more than 20 years of service, demonstrated exceptional clinical expertise across multiple departments and continuous professional development includes a bachelor’s degree, Advanced Diploma in Orthopaedics, and master’s in health science education. She shares her expertise and actively participates in teaching and mentoring, showing special commitment to training staff particular in orthopaedic care. She cochairs the Orthopaedic Device Pressure Injury Prevention Workgroup in CGH. Her contributions extend beyond direct patient care to significant involvement in hospital-wide and cluster-level projects. She completed a three-year Nursing Transformation fellowship programme, where she coordinated various innovation projects. Wang Xia has spearheaded several significant initiatives in CGH, including the Nursing Software Suite (NURSS), Asset Tracking of BME equipment, Patient RTLS tracking, Electronic Meal Ordering System projects.
