Our Speakers

Ms Wang Xiqin is an Advanced Practice Nurse in Changi General Hospital, Medical Intensive Care Unit (MICU). Teaching and sharing have always been her passion. She has decades of clinical nursing experience in ICU and its Outreach Services. She has been actively involved in research, education and training activities related to ICU and Rapid Response System. Following her Health Manpower Development Plan (HMDP) in the field of Critical Care Point of Care Ultrasound (POCUS), she is successfully accredited in FUSIC® Heart and FUSIC® Lung. With that she hopes to enhance the clinical practice in ICUs. She is also interested to enhance APN related education or training in the hospital where she practices. She had conducted numerous In-situ Resuscitation Simulation both in and out of ICU in collaboration with other members of the team. Currently she hopes to contribute to the formation of the base trainers for Critical Care POCUS course in SingHealth.
