Our Speakers

Dr. Wong Seng Mun is a Senior Principal Speech-Language Therapist at the Singapore General Hospital and Associate Professor at the Singapore Institute of Technology. With a clinical focus on adult dysphagia, she has dedicated the past two decades to understanding and improving the management of swallowing disorders. Her research interests centre on developing practical solutions for patients with swallowing difficulties. Currently, she leads several collaborative projects supported by NMRC and NHIC grants, working with colleagues to develop remote monitoring systems for swallowing assessment and innovative devices for dysphagia management. Together with her department, she is working on developing a clinical registry for dysphagia to better understand patient outcomes and enhance care delivery.
