Global Health Fellows Programme

​The SingHealth Duke-NUS Global Health Fellows Programme aims to groom future global health leaders by providing fellows from Academic Clinical Programmes (ACPs) to advance their careers in global health. As part of this programme, these fellows will have the opportunity to obtain SDGHI scholarship to pursue Masters of Public Health (Global Health) 24-month part-time programme at Saw Swee Hock School of Public Health, NUS.

In addition, the fellows are eligible to apply for SDGHI top-up research grant for field research at an approved overseas site in ASEAN as part of the course requirement. This grant award is based on merit of the field research proposal that is submitted to SDGHI.


Support Given

  • Tuition fees and miscellaneous fees for the enrollment of MPH (GH) 24-month part-time programme at Saw Swee Hock School of Public Health, NUS.

  • Paid leave^ for up to 3 months over 2 academic years.

  • Eligibility to apply for top-up research grant for field research at an approved overseas site in ASEAN as part of the course requirement. Grant award is based on merit of the field research proposal that is submitted to SDGHI.

^ Successful applicants will be required to serve an appropriate period of bond with their primary institution of employment.


Who Can Apply?

  • SingHealth clinicians who are Associate Consultants and above.

  • Singaporeans and PRs only.


Application Process

  • Submit application, through respective ACPs, with strong recommendation from the ACP Chair, and endorsements from Head of Department, Division Chair & CMB of respective sponsoring institution.

  • Applicant should separately apply for admission to the MPH (GH) programme in Saw Swee Hock School of Public Health, NUS, according to the standard process. Refer to https://sph.nus.edu.sg/education/mph/ for more information.
