2. Director

A/Prof Anantham Devanand is the Head of the SingHealth Duke-NUS Lung Centre and a Senior Consultant at the Singapore General Hospital. He was trained in endoscopy at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Centre, Harvard Medical School and Thoraxklinik, University of Heidelberg.  He serves as the Director of the Centre of Medical Ethics and Professionalism at the Singapore Medical Association, and Chair of the National Medical Ethics Committee. He is also the Director of the SingHealth Duke-NUS Medical Humanities Institute.

3. Internal Advisory Board 

They are professional representatives from Academic Clinical Programs across the SingHealth cluster. This board effectively connects SDMHI to serve and meet the needs of each program and support the development of "ground-up initiatives.” SDMHI also consults and collaborates with various other centers, offices and institutes within SingHealth. Examples include the Center for Person Centered Care and SingHealth Academy.

4. External Advisors

SDMHI connects to a range of university departments, professional associations, and other humanities-related institutions in Singapore. Examples include the National University of Singapore, Nanyang Technological University, Singapore Medical Association, Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts, National Gallery Singapore and University of the Arts, Singapore.
