In the development of the next generation of researchers is the only Emergency Physician awarded with the National Medical Research Council (NMRC) Clinician Scientist Award (CSA) who has achieved over 200 publications and obtained more than $42 million in grant funding. Accompanied by other accomplished researchers, a structured Research and Clinical Elective is offered to medical students to experience and contribute to ongoing research. The nurturing of the next generation at such an early stage fuels their interest in Research would blossom the inquisitive minds into Clinician Investigators, Residents in the Clinician Scientist Track and Nursing Research.
