Research Overview

Translating Ideas into Real World Practices, Improving Patient Care.

The Research pillar succours both bench and bedside. With comprehensive training programmes and multi-lateral mentorship opportunities, we seek to aggressively expand our research capacity and translate laboratory insights into life-saving systems and tools. This pillar is made up of four domains:

• Clinical Research (1&2): investigates a variety of EM concerns ranging from critical care, injury to resuscitation

• Health Services: analyses health services, observation medicine and EM efficacy

• Research Education and Support: augments research efforts (e.g. analyse research needs, facilitate grant writing and proposal drafting)

The coming years will be an exciting venture as we cultivate a new wave of Clinician Scientists and Investigators under an Emergency Medicine Research Laboratory, working towards becoming Asia’s best in the EM field.
