• Fellowship of the College of Family Physicians Singapore (FCFPS)
SingHealth Polyclinics (SHP) organizes yearly workshops for SingHealth candidates to better prepare them for the GDFM and MMed (FM) clinical examinations. These serve as learning opportunities for both candidates and examiners to ascertain the strengths and gaps of the group. Candidates and examiners come from FM ACP member institutions, including Changi General Hospital (CGH), KK Women’s and Children’s Hospital (KKH), Sengkang General Hospital (SKH), Singapore General Hospital (SGH), SingHealth Community Hospitals (SCH), with the majority from SHP. In addition, private practitioners and CFPS members have been active partners in serving as examiners in the workshops.
SHP and the other polyclinic clusters have collaborated with CFPS in the Fellowship programme by hosting the clinical formative assessments for their candidates, including those in private practice. Senior physicians from the FM ACP family are actively involved as trainers and examiners in this national FM advanced specialty programme to produce proficient family physicians to function in diverse settings.
