FM ACP has successfully applied for a 3-year seed grant to support development of its research initiatives with academic merit.
• To support research projects of a lower funding quantum
• To serve as a stepping stone for faculty to generate preliminary data to apply for cluster/national competitive research grants
• FM ACP faculty and FM fellowship trainees in CGH, KKH, SCH, SGH, SHP and SKH
• Project should be relevant to FM ACP’s signature research programmes (SRPs)
FM ACP has received 7 applications so far and awarded 5, with funding of up to S$10,000 per project. With preliminary data from the pilot study, the first awardee managed to garner external funding to support phase 2 of the study. She also bagged the best oral presentation award (2nd prize) for her study at the 7th Asia-Pacific Primary Care Research Conference 2019.
