Hazirah Mohamad is a PhD candidate at the Dalla Lana School of Public Health, University of Toronto. Her dissertation examines Singapore's healthcare financing policy and its implications for end-of-life care, resource allocation ethics, and health inequities.. She brings to her work a background in research, a commitment to social justice, and the lived experience of a young caregiver. Prior to her doctoral studies, she was a Senior Research Associate specialising in palliative care, gerontology, and youth delinquency.
