Programme Description:
This symposium brings together medical students, art students, and junior doctors to share their varied experiences in the arts and humanities and the intersection with healthcare. Audience will hear the stories from the speakers who include a medical student who founded a visual arts group, a postgraduate medical student who did her basic degree in Anthropology, a junior doctor who co-founded a student interest group in the medical humanities. The speakers will then convene for a panel discussion to share about their hopes and aspirations for the future of the medical humanities landscape both locally and regionally.
