Harry Yi-Jui Wu is a physician turned medical historian. He received his medical training in Taiwan and obtained his DPhil in Modern History from the University of Oxford in 2012. Having been involved in the design of medical humanities curricula in various universities in Singapore and Hong Kong, he is now jointly appointed by the Cross College Elite Program and the Department of Medical Humanities and Social Medicine at National Cheng Kung University, Taiwan. He has more than thirty journal and book publications on various topics in medical history and medical humanities. His latest book, Mad by the Millions: Mental Disorders and the Early Years of the World Health Organization, was published by MIT Press in 2021.
