Dr Jamie Zhou is a Senior Consultant at Assisi Hospice and the Division of Supportive and Palliative Care at the National Cancer Centre, Singapore. Her clinical interests are in pain management, integrating supportive care in intensive care units, and communication skills training for healthcare professionals. She incorporates poetry and narrative medicine as a clinician and educator. Her poems have been published in Asia Pacific Hospice Palliative Care Network's "To let the light in" and Singapore Hospice Council's "The gift of presence". She is currently pursuing her studies in narrative medicine at Columbia University.
