Prassanna Raman is the Impact Evaluation Lead at AWWA. She oversees the design, implementation, and evaluation of pilot programs that test new models of service delivery. Her work focuses on enhancing the quality of inclusive health and educational services in Singapore, as well as expanding the range of community-based tools to address poverty. With a background in international development and global health, Prassanna specializes in policies and programs that empower communities living in vulnerable settings. She previously led the Civil Society Organization Initiative in the World Health Organization Western Pacific Region during the early years of COVID-19 to improve health outcomes in underserved populations. Prassanna received her PhD in International Development from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, where her research explored how the implementation of water and sanitation policies in Asian cities impacted socio-spatial and health equity.
