Phylaine specialises in the intersection of clinician wellbeing, workforce sustainability, and the medical humanities. In her role at SingHealth Duke-NUS Medical Humanities Institute, she designs and facilitates reflective, arts- and narrative-informed initiatives that supports clinician identity formation, psychological safety, and trauma-informed systemsd in complex healthcare systems. 

She brings the ability to translate creative, humanistic methods into strategic frameworks for staff development and organisational change. Her approach is grounded in trauma-informed care and narrative medicine, shaped by her training at Columbia University. 

Phylaine is a registered Art Therapist (AThR) and Certified Clinical Trauma Professional (CCTP-II), with over 7 years of practice across clinical care, arts-based programme design, and interdisciplinary education in acute hospitals.
