A/Prof Ang has been active in educating GPs and Family Physicians about menopausal women’s health both locally and internationally in the various conferences. His research interest includes telehealth, osteoporosis, menopause, sexual health, diabetes mellitus as well as dermatology. Projects in the coming year includes a specially manufactured garment for use in children with severe eczema, osteoporosis prevalence study in the community, melasma prevalence and progression in pregnant women, sexuality issues in the Singapore Women, etc.

For the advancement of his knowledge and skills, A/Prof Ang is an active member of various societies. Currently, he is a member of the Board of Trustees, International Menopause Society, President of Asian Federation of Osteoporosis Societies, Council Member of Asia Pacific Menopause Federation, President of Menopause Research Society (Singapore) and Vice-President of Osteoporosis Society Singapore.
