AM•EI Golden Apple Awards

AN ACCOLADE FOR EDUCATORS – The AM•EI Golden Apple Awards recognise faculty and staff with an active teaching role in the SingHealth Duke-NUS Academic Medical Centre. Honour the best in healthcare education who have transformed teaching by engaging and inspiring learners. At SingHealth and Duke-NUS, educators play an important role for continuous learning and improvement in the pursuit of Academic Medicine. AM•EI believes that excellence in teaching by incorporating innovation will enhance engagement and imbue the spirit of inquiry in learners, thereby contributing to better healthcare education. Hence, the series of award categories aims to recognise and encourage educators for their passion and dedication to demonstrate excellence in teaching.

AMEI Golden Apple - Generativity Award

The Generativity Award commends those who actively give back to education by nurturing budding mentors and educators. A/Prof Tan Lay Kok (left) was awarded in 2022, while Prof Tan Kok Hian (right) was awarded in 2020. 
 

AMEI Golden Apple - Outstanding Educator Award

The Outstanding Educator Award recognizes and honours outstanding educators in SingHealth Duke-NUS across various healthcare professions who have transformed teaching and helped raised the standards of medical education. Dr Manisha Mathur was commended in 2019. 

NUS Medicine Appreciation for Clinical Educators (NUSMedACE)

NUSMedACE recognizes the outstanding contributions of healthcare clinicians to the NUS Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine, and their passion for educating the future generations. We are proud to showcase the educators featured over the years.
