General Surgery Residency Programme
The SingHealth Residency General Surgery Programme is a structured five-year programme that will equip you with the medical knowledge, clinical skills and right attitudes of a proficient surgeon.
The programme offers a seamless track to specialist surgical training to prepare your career as a surgeon. With comprehensive training, timely supervision, formative assessments and personalised mentoring, you can expect to progress from one postgraduate year to the next with greater empowerment to practice as a surgeon.
If you enjoy problem-solving, working with your hands and making decisions in a dynamic environment, General Surgery may be right specialty for you.

Otolaryngology Residency Programme
Otolaryngology or ENT (ear, nose, and throat) specialises in the diagnosis and treatment of disorders of the head and neck.
Just as the name implies, our future ENT specialists should be a good listener to their patients (ear), be able to communicate well (throat) and be ready to sniff out opportunities to develop the specialty (nose).
If you value teamwork, ethics, have good interpersonal skills, a sense of humanity and empathy, and enjoy life-long learning, you will fit right in at otolaryngology.

Urology Residency Programme
The SingHealth Urology Residency Programme is a six-year robust training programme including two years of Surgery-In-General to prepare you to be a competent General Urologist.
Our Residency Programme offers a diverse training experience encompassing many aspects of Urology. Many of the urologic subspecialties – General Urology, Female Urology/Urodynamics, Urologic Oncology, Infertility/Andrology, Endourologic/Laparoscopic/Robotic Surgery, Reconstructive Urology and Renal Transplant are taught by a dedicated team of Faculty, who emphasises both holistic patient care and Resident education.
Most of our Faculty members hold teaching positions with the NUS Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine and Duke-NUS Medical School. Our Faculty members are also actively involved at the highest level of training and training administration, both locally and at an international level.
If you value teamwork, have an inquisitive nature and ability to think and ‘see’ beyond the obvious, and enjoy lifelong learning, you will fit right in at Urology.

Paediatrics Surgery Residency Programme
The Paediatric Surgery Programme is a structured six-year programme. For the first three years of your training, you will be exposed to General Surgery, Urology, Thoracic Surgery, Paediatrics Medicine (General Paediatrics), Children’s Emergency and Paediatric Anaesthesia. This is followed by the remaining three years of specialization in Paediatric Surgery where you will be attached to KKH Paediatric Surgery as well as cross-cluster Paediatric Surgery rotation.
Paediatric Surgery is the field of medicine that encompasses a broad range of surgical diseases and congenital malformations, both operative and non-operative, from foetal period until the late teenage years. Paediatric Surgeons in Singapore manage general surgical conditions, non-cardiac thoracic conditions, genito-urinary and gynaecological disorders in babies, children and adolescence. Our faculties develop their interest in subspecialisation (i.e. Oncological Surgery, Urological Surgery and Hepatobiliary Surgery) while preserving routine general work, with both elective and emergency exposure. As the works of Paediatric Surgeon continues to tailor around the care of the little patients and their families, our training programme aims to develop thinking surgeons who utilise teaching, research and clinical skills to improve patient care. We welcome anyone who loves children as much as surgery to join our family!
