Peer Support Group (PSG)

Synonym(s):

The Peer Support Group is part of Joint Office of Academic Medicine – Academic Programmes Management Department (JOAM – APMD)’s initiative to develop an ecosystem to support the Academic Career development of the Clinician Researchers and Research Scientists, while building community and culture.


The objectives of the Peer Support Group are:

To provide further opportunities for Healthcare Professionals under the peer support tracks for deepened engagement and collaboration

To deepen expertise in various tracks within the SingHealth Duke-NUS AMC




To establish a community of practice for specialised/Focus Groups within the SingHealth Duke-NUS AMC

To establish a platform for pastoral care and support

 

The Young Clinician Researchers Peer Support Group (YCR PSG) brings together a community of support for Clinicians including doctors, nurses, and allied health professionals who are enthusiastic about sharing personal experiences and career advice in their research journey. Working on the framework of "Real Talk, Real Support", "Engage & Empower", they hope to provide a platform to:

Link young clinicians through networking

Provide career talks and sharing of personal journey



Mentor session for juniors



Encourage resource sharing and collaboration

YCR PSG Events

Through the "Real Talk, Real Support" Series and Engage and Empower Networking Sessions, you will acquire various knowledge and identify many support available in the AMC from the different experts and your peer leaders, to tackle the challenges along your journey.

Real Talk, Real Support Series - Webinars featuring topics close to the heart of Young Clinician Researchers.
Engage and Empower - Face-to-face networking for PSG community support and pastoral care.
