Our committee plays a role in faculty development within the SingHealth Duke-NUS Academic Medical Centre, and in the near-term, aims to strategically align overall faculty development with the Joint Education Masterplan to ensure coherence. Greater emphasis will be placed on developing and facilitating programmes that are tailored to educators’ needs. We also aim to strengthen interprofessional collaborative practice among healthcare professionals, as this is one of the goals of the Joint Education Masterplan." The Professional Development Committee
Harmonises education development programmes in SingHealth and Duke-NUS to promote interprofessional sharing of knowledge and ideas.
Develops and/or teaches education development programmes to guide the professional development of an educator through different competencies and levels.
Establishes key initiatives, such as the Online Essentials in Clinical Education, Education Grand Rounds, Education Conferences as well as workshops to cater to higher levels of competencies.
