AMEI Educator Pathway

By Educators, For Educators

How Can We Develop and Progress to Become Better Educators?

Introducing... The Educator Pathway!

The Educator Pathway is a framework designed by educators, for all healthcare educators within the SingHealth Duke-NUS Academic Medical Centre (AMC). Created by the AMEI Centre for Clinician Educator Development, it provides a shared mental model charting the stages of healthcare educators' progression and seeks to guide our personal growth and development.

The Educator Pathway illustrates an educator's development through four levels, starting from Emerging Educator, to Competent Educator, to Proficient Educator, and finally to Expert Educator. Each level builds upon the previous level in terms of developing more competencies and cultivating additional values.
