Giving Effective Feedback

This workshop offers two strategies for giving feedback to challenging individuals. Participants will also get opportunities to practice these strategies.

Learning Objectives

• Describe purpose of feedback
• List the elements of the DESC model for feedback
• Practice writing feedback using the DESC model
• Practice giving feedback to challenging individuals
• Identify barriers to utilise these skills and plan strategies to overcome these barriers and improve their feedback skills
