Maximising the Impact of Feedback

Synonym(s):

Feedback is effective only when students and trainees accept and use it to improve their performance. However, receptiveness to feedback tends to be poor. This talk examines the factors that facilitate or hinder feedback uptake and will share various feedback models, including  R2C2 (Relationship, Reaction, Content, Coaching for Change), Pendleton, Feedback Sandwich and DESC (Describe, Express, Specify, and Consequences) that help to promote feedback acceptance and use.
