L2 ENGAGE! Teaching Observation Of Peers (SELECTIVE)

Synonym(s):

Teaching Observation of Peers (TOP) aims to facilitate the development of current educators’ teaching and learning through becoming a peer observer to other educators. Participants will receive training on how to observe their peers teaching and provide them with structured and constructive feedback.

The course requires active participation through various role play scenarios. Participants will alternately play the roles of students, teachers and peer observers in order to create a conducive environment for peer observation and feedback.

Learning Objectives

This planning workshop is part of the Level 2 Advanced Educators Workshops, designed to help interprofessional educators develop advanced competencies in the ENGAGE! Domain.

After attending this workshop, participants will be able to provide structured and constructive feedback to their peers’ teaching.
