ASSESS! Workplace-based Assessment - Part 1

The effective and efficient delivery of healthcare requires not only knowledge and technical skills, but also analytical and communication skills, interprofessional care, evidence- and system-based care. These skills have been included in competency-based framework in healthcare profession education. Assessing these clinical competencies requires robust workplace-based assessment.

This workshop addresses:

^*Colleagues who have attended SKH's Fundamentals of Clinical Education do not need to attend the WBA-1 workshop .

At the end of this workshop, you should be better able to:

• Describe assessment principles.
  
• Describe theoretical underpinning.
  
• Apply methods in aligning assessment with learning outcomes.
