AMII Overview

The establishment of AMII signifies a stronger support for innovation in the healthcare sector and it aligns closely to the AMC’s three-fold thrust mission to provide excellent patient care through:

1. Delivering high quality affordable & compassionate patient care;
2. Training, practicing and aspiring healthcare professionals; and
3. Advancing health, healthcare innovations and research

Supported by SingHealth Office for Innovation and Duke-NUS Office of Innovation and Entrepreneurship, AMII is a convening platform that brings together innovators in the AMC to foster a culture of innovation.  

The key aims/deliverables of AMII are:

• A convening forum for regularly connecting the AMC healthcare innovation community to share their progress, best practices and benefitting from cluster synergy.
• An asset/capability/program/partnership map of the AMC health innovation landscape.
• Broad strategic directions for AMC health innovation based on priority focus areas.
• Guidance in evaluating impact of health innovation.
