Overview:
Step into the world of immersive learning where education meets creativity! This hands-on workshop invites educators, facilitators, and trainers to explore how virtual escape rooms and interactive games can transform lessons into dynamic, learner-centred experiences.
Using a guided, step-by-step approach, participants will gain first-hand experience in conceptualizing, designing, and building their own virtual escape room using accessible online tools such as Google Sites, Slides, and Forms. No IT or programming skills are required — this workshop is designed for educators with no technical background. Through demonstrations and hands-on creation, participants will discover how virtual escape rooms—like the Management of Amniotic Fluid Embolism scenario—can enhance learner engagement, critical thinking, and collaboration.
The session also uncovers practical design tips, creative strategies, and common “loopholes” to avoid when integrating game-based learning. By the end of this interactive session, participants will have built a working prototype and gained the confidence to apply escape room and gamification strategies in their own teaching.
✨ Join us to unlock the potential of your lessons—one puzzle at a time!
