Overview:

This workshop aims to discuss and explore the R2C2 feedback framework in healthcare education, what constitutes the feedback literacy behaviour, as well as introduce esssential coaching skills that support faculty’s journey in feedback interactions and opportunities with supervisee through the orientation dialogic quadrant.

This workshop will also be a place to bring together doctors, nurses and, AHPs for a common goal—to be empowered providers of feedback within the healthcare institution.

 

Learning Outcome(s):

At the end of this workshop, participants should be able to:

(1) Discuss and differentiate between the practices of unidirectional versus bidirectional/ dialogic feedback

(2) Identify and apply the steps of R2C2 framework in feedback moments

(3) Identify some essential ways of coaching as part of feedback practices using the orientation dialogic quadrant

 

Target Audience:

All faculty/ teachers/ mentors/ supervisors involved in the practice, teaching and provision of feedback for learners/ supervisees and mentees. This workshop is opened to all doctors, nurses and allied health professionals, who is keen to learn, improve and explore ways of feedback and coaching moving forward for current generation of learners.
